A Dhow is a type of ship that has been sailing the Indian Ocean or centuries. It is made of wood and makes a very elegant impression. If you are a lover of water sports and want to admire the Kenyan coast from a traditional Dhow you have come to the right place.

Come aboard a Dhow and explore the Indian Ocean!

You will be picked up at the Zum Zum Beachhouse and taken to the dock where the Dhow is moored, which has been prepared for your tour and provisioned with cold drinks.

Relax and listen to some mellow music while your unforgettable trip over the Indian Ocean along the coast of Kenya is off to a wonderful start. Lean back, enjoy the warm sun on your face and stand amazed at the glorious nature that you will see passing by.

The type of Dhow used for this tour is of a highly advanced level. As it sails without an engine, it is also extremely ecologically friendly. Of course, there is no need for you to do any sailing; the experienced crew will be taking care of this all by themselves.

All that is left for you to do is to take in the unique scenery of the coast, dolphins, tortoises and perhaps even a whale shark.

A fortifying lunch will be served on board, while you sip a cool drink or a glass perfectly chilled wine, with some delightful music in the background.

The ship will stop at some stunning spots where you can take a break and go snorkelling or diving.

The Kenyan underwater world offers a wealth of fish, colourful coral reefs and crystal-clear water.

There is also a toilet on board.
